Chalk Talk

Chalkboards. Such a nostalgic mess. My roommates and I sparked an obsession whilst skimming Crate & Barrel magazines over evening rounds of cheesy television, and before we knew it, it was agreed, a dire need born. Upon what you ask? Well that the perfect chalkboard accent piece for our barely-there-soon-to-be-divine dining room was a MUST, to be found immediately (and for cheap!!). This adorable way of communicating, designed for the whimsical, inspirationally-inclined, or just plain forgetful, is exactly what us (described above), and our dining room (described above above) desperately seek. The hunt is on!

I'm 35, and this is my home

There's something about this gorgeously framed, yet strangely intimate open air loft bedroom space that draws me in uncontrollably each time I see it. I imagine waking up slowly, sun warming my cheeks and lightening my eyelids. I roll out of this cloud and glide to the window, inspired by the hustle & bustle of a busy city below. Aromatic dark roast hits my senses and I pad to the shower before a long day on the grind. A powerful vision of having made a life of my own high above the city flow.

Lace & Dreamland

If you're anything like me, you adore and envy the supercraftyness of those with that eye for all things unique, funky & fresh in the decor realm. When attempting to perfect and respect the aesthetic of my personal space, I continually find myself disappointed with the outcome. But this fabric, lace headboard is something I'm sure even I could manage. I love the delicate simplicity of the lace paired with a new spin on framing the space we fall into exhausted by the trials of the day, the space which holds our dreams each night- after all, what space could be more sacred?
